How is the FRP puncture test done?
The FRP/ECR rod is be cut into a small sample in a piece, put into transformer oil which has excellent insulation property than air, then the voltage is applied to both ends and increases till the FRP core sample is punctured. The testing machine will record the test procedure and the puncture voltage.
